Bansang, the latest from hit S.F. Korean restaurant group Daeho, opens this week

Bansang, a modern Korean restaurant from two fine-dining chefs and the restaurant group behind Daeho, opens Thursday, April 28, in San Francisco with dishes such as sashimi soup and uni scallop toast. The restaurant is located at 1560 Fillmore St., at Geary Boulevard, the former location of Japanese restaurant Izakaya Kou. Although chefs Ethan Min, who previously worked at Atelier Crenn, Saison and Kinjo, and Jin Lim, formerly of Michael Mina, Kinjo and Kabuto, bring high-end restaurant experience, their vision for Bansang is more casual.
